    It’s very difficult to get books out in distribution, but keep using Facebook and blogging. Read other people’s blogs and add comments – generally get ‘seen’ in the blogging world, and in the writing world. Go to book launches in your city (if you are in the a city), talk to other authors and build up your profile. Join your state’s Writers Centre and go to seminars and social things they run (if they do). Join Pass It On, a weekly industry newsletter for writers of Children’s and Young Adult books. You can google that to find the link. And good luck!

  2. Hi Sheryl, I am a new author my book The Sapphire’s Promise has just been released. I am a children’s author, also Australian hoping for help in promoting my book. I have a facebook page and a blog under my pen name. I am currently editing my second book.
